It’s been almost an entire month since my last post, and I can’t say I have much of an excuse other than I was in Cabo for a week, and the Knudsens keep hanging around…j/k. It’s been a great month…so here’s a quick run down of the highlights…

• We spent a fun filled week in Cabo with the Knudsens who were great companions, not to mention great baby sitters . Basically, the group all in all did the following: boat ride, snorkeling, scuba diving, horseback riding, repelling, zip-lining, tennis, swimming, dancing. I’m pretty sure I missed something, but that about covers it.
• My mom came out for a week, and Kyle had an absolutely great time with her. I really feel that the video chatting went a long way in preventing the “stranger anxiety” that kids sometimes get. It had been almost 6 months since Kyle had seen my mom in person, but within a minute, he thought she was just great and wanted hugs. Hopefully, she’ll get out here again sometime soon.
• My buddy Cassidy and his family moved back to Texas. We had a going away party for them last weekend, and pretty much gave them a good old fashioned guilt trip…so I expect them back within a couple of years. The Bay Area sucks you in, and you just can’t get out…trust me, I know!
• We went dancing at the Saddle Rack on Friday night with Kathie and Keith while Kristen and Trevor watched Kyle. We had a great time, and if case the name didn’t give it away…it is a country bar…so Line dancing and two stepping have been added to repertoire.
• Barbie’s mom Jeanne retired!! We had a celebration dinner last night at La Fondue which was absolutely excellent, and the big party is Wednesday night in Modesto, which Barbie and I plan on making also.
